Valhalla Deck and Patio designed and built a screened-in porch and deck in North Canton for a homeowner looking to relax outdoors without the hassle of bugs or double trips to let the dogs out. The goal was to blend function and comfort into a space usable year-round.
The project featured a pressure-treated structure with a tongue-and-groove ceiling and custom hogwire railing for added safety and clear sightlines. A screened-in area protects the seating space from insects, and a storm door with an integrated doggie door allows the homeowner to give pets access without stepping outside every time. Hard ground conditions required the use of a mini-excavator during construction.
The finished result is a clean, elevated structure that offers fresh air, shelter, and flexibility for both people and pets. It adds long-term functionality and visual appeal to the home’s exterior.
