Hi, I’m Chris,
Thanks for being here. I want to share how Valhalla Deck and Patio came to life and what drives our work every day.
Building has always been second nature to me. From childhood projects to my first job in landscaping, I’ve always been drawn to building things that last and matter. There’s something special about turning a plain backyard into a place where families gather, relax, and make memories.
My path took me through 20 years of service in the U.S. Army. Those years instilled values that now shape everything we do: humility, integrity, grit, and respect. After retiring, I returned to construction, but working with large builders left me longing for more. Too often, the personal touch and honest communication were missing.
That’s why I launched Valhalla in 2023, to bring the personal back into building. Not just outdoor spaces, but something people feel proud to use and share. I desired to build a company grounded in trust and lasting relationships. My wife, whom I met while in the Army, and I are raising four kids, and our “family first, no exceptions” mindset isn’t just for home; it’s how we treat every client we work with.
