The client originally wanted a new deck, but after reviewing their space and goals, it became clear that a pergola would be a better fit. The main objective was to enhance the backyard’s appearance, especially since it is fully visible from the road.
We designed and built a custom pergola using pressure-treated wood, framing it to match the scale and lines of the existing raised patio. One of the challenges was ensuring the new structure blended seamlessly with the existing stonework and layout.
The pergola now adds depth and definition to the patio, creating a functional space for relaxing while improving curb appeal. This installation gave the client exactly what they needed: A visually appealing and inviting backyard feature.
